Our Hire Range
We have carefully selected a range of configured AT equipment that is available for Hire. We also have the option for equipment hire outside our 'Fast Supply' range. Please discuss your personal requirements with your Astris PME Consultant.
All Hire equipment is maintained to the highest standard, to ensure each person who makes use of equipment receives the best possible care.
Why Hire?
Hire is a great option for short term needs, or where an NDIS Participant is waiting for approved funding. Hire is also beneficial where the equipment user’s needs are changing, for example before or after surgery. Hire may be the best option where the length of use is unknown.
Our Hire service provides you with choice and flexibility when it comes to your care. It can help support you through the times of need as well as let you trial different solutions for your care without the full financial cost that is associated with up-front purchase. Our team will work with you to understand your specific needs and recommend how our hire option could work best for you.

How Can I Hire Equipment?
Short Term Hire
The configured equipment available for Hire is shown in the Astris PME Hire Catalogue.
The configured equipment featured in this brochure is available for hire. Minimum hire periods vary (up to three months), depending on the time and cost required for set-up, configuration, delivery, and fitting. Our competitive weekly hire rates include an initial payment that covers the hire period, set-up, delivery, and fitting. A bond is also included, which covers the collection and disinfection of the equipment at the end of the trial. If you decide to purchase the equipment, the bond will be fully refunded.
Rent to Own
We do offer a finance model where we supply the equipment, with monthly repayments to pay off the equipment. At the end of 12 months, you own the equipment. Note, this is a legally binding contract for the full 12 months. Although the cost to configure, delivery and fit the equipment still applies, there is no bond nor return & disinfection fee.
