Alber E-Motion M25
The Alber e-motion M25 is a push-rim activated power assist designed to make self-propelling a manual wheelchair easier while maintaining the familiar feel and control of manual mobility.
Electric motors integrated into the wheel hubs provide responsive assistance with each push of the rims, helping reduce the physical effort required to move, steer and brake. This can make longer distances, slopes and everyday outings more manageable while supporting active, independent mobility.
Sensitive sensors within the push rims detect the user’s propulsion movement and provide the appropriate level of motor assistance. The level of support can be tailored to suit individual needs and driving preferences.
Small, discreet adapters allow the e-motion wheels to be fitted to a wide range of compatible manual wheelchairs. Each drive wheel weighs just 7.8 kg and incorporates the motor, electronics and lithium-ion battery into the wheel hub, creating a compact system that is easy to remove for transport.
The optional ECS remote control and e-motion Mobility App provide additional ways to customise and manage the system, including assistance settings, battery information and other driving functions.
