Centro Glide power wheelchair - Australian-made stability

The Centro Glide power wheelchair is a robust mid-wheel-drive chair, designed and made in Australia for years of trouble-free service. It's narrow, compact and manoeuvrable, so it performs indoors and out. A 75-amp battery system keeps you going all day.

APT suspension and kerb climbing

At its core sits Glide's patented Active Pozi-Track (APT) — a fully independent, six-wheel suspension system. Because APT increases traction on the drive wheels, the Centro can climb kerbs up to 80 mm high. It also works as an anti-pitch device. As a result, the chair stays level and prevents nose-dive when you descend roadside kerbs.

Seating built around you

The Centro Glide also comes with built-in tilt-in-space. In addition, its fully customisable seating platform lets you tailor the cushioning to your needs.

Warranty: five (5) Years warranty on frame; twelve (12) months warranty on all other components

Lead Time: 8 to 10 weeks

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place twice a year to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $700.00 (excluding GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour per service.
