It can also make everyday activities easier. In addition, the M1 offers practical options for comfort, transfers and positioning.

Comfortable, confident driving
Smooth suspension helps reduce vibration while driving. The low centre of gravity also helps provide a stable and controlled ride. Mid-wheel traction supports smooth movement across a range of indoor and outdoor spaces. The seating system can also adapt as needs change over time.

Flexible positioning and transfers
The optional power tilt allows the seat to tilt up to 50°. This can support comfort, rest and pressure relief. It may also assist with trunk stability and head control when appropriate. In addition, an optional power elevating leg rest makes it easier to change leg position throughout the day.

Flip-up lockable armrests and a swing-away joystick create more space for transfers. An optional foldable backrest can also make storage and transport easier.

Lead Time: 8 to 10 weeks; 4 weeks lead time for QuickShip orders

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place twice a year to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $700.00 (excluding GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour per service.
