The F5 Corpus VS power wheelchair lets users stand and drive, so standing becomes part of everyday life. Standing can promote greater independence. It may also help reduce secondary complications from long-term sitting.

The F5 Corpus VS includes every poer seat function of the F5 Corpus. On top of that, it adds standing β€” and full drivability while standing. So a clinician can prescribe it for users who want to stand but cannot stand independently.

The Corpus seating system

Comfort, pelvic positioning, lateral stability and immersion drive the design of the new Corpus seat. The new cushions use softer two-layer foam on the backrest, a re-designed pelvic well and Stretch-Air fabric. With BodyNatural positioning, the Corpus seat suits power chair users whether they need power functions or not.

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place twice a year to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $700.00 (excluding GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour per service.
