CareWave Lying & Positioning System

The CareWave range includes a wide selection of specialised lying positioning cushions designed to support pressure care, comfort, and postural positioning. Using a unique polystyrene micro-bead filling and stretchable polyurethane covers, the system can be shaped to provide more individualised support across a wide range of lying and seated positions.

The CareWave body positioning system is highly versatile, lightweight, and easy to use. It is designed to adapt to different body shapes and sizes, with options suitable for infants through to adults. The flexible micro-bead filling allows the carer to adjust the level of support and comfort around the user’s body and limbs, helping to reduce pressure, support positioning, and assist in protecting the skin.

Unlike more rigid positioning supports, CareWave cushions provide dynamic support, allowing the user to continue making natural small position changes during rest or sleep. This can help the user achieve a more comfortable and effective lying position, whether supine, prone, or side-lying.
