Commander Car Seat

The Thomashilfen Commander Car Seat is a highly adaptable positioning car seat designed to provide individualised postural support for children living with a disability.

Designed for children who may require additional upper body and trunk support, the Commander features fixed lateral trunk supports to help provide stability and positioning during travel. These supports draw on proven positioning principles used across Thomashilfen rehabilitation seating products.

The Commander can be configured to suit a range of individual positioning requirements, with a broad selection of optional accessories available to support comfort, fit and everyday use.

The car seat includes a built-in harness for postural support only and can be configured with accessories including hip and lateral supports, an abduction block, crotch pad, swivel base, footrest, seat depth extension and anti-escape vest with shoulder strap retainer.

The Commander Car Seat has been independently assessed through MACA's Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) in accordance with the AuSAP Test and Assessment Protocol and is listed on MACA's National Product Register.
