The Little Wave Flip is a paediatric tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for children who have outgrown the positioning capabilities of a standard adaptive stroller. It combines the familiar appearance and easy handling of a stroller with the advanced support, durability, and adjustability of a wheelchair.

When paired with the R82 x shape seating system, the Little Wave Flip can adapt as the child grows and their positioning needs change. The adaptor plate allows the seating system to be attached and removed easily, while adjustable seat height, depth, and width support a more individualised fit over time.

Its compact flat-folding design, high-pivot folding back, and TAPER LOK technology make storage and transport more practical. The raised back pivot also allows more seating components to remain attached when the chair is folded, helping simplify everyday use for families and carers.

Expected Service Life: The expected life of the frame is five (5) years.

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place every six months to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $690.00 (excluding GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour per service.
