Product Features

The Kidsflex has a reclining back support; a necessity with users that lack sufficient head control.

Comes with a 5-pt padded harness with abdominal padding to ensure optimum postural support and comfort.

To make transfers even easier, an innovative swivel base with a compact design is available to spin the seat so that the carer or parent does not strain their back lifting the user over the edge of the car seat.

The swivel base is available in both left and right side configurations.

The Kidsflex seat base is very slim coupled with slimline seat cushions, allowing increased available height within the vehicle and also at the door, allowing for easier transfers in and out of the car.

The Kidsflex has a robust structure ensuring your child is safe and secure.

With an easily adjustable seat base to allow for increased seat depth and a harness that can adjust in length and height, the Kidsflex provides ample possibilities to adapt the seat to the growth of the child.

The Kidsflex seat is adjustable in angle to accomodate limited hip flexion of the user, or tilt the user back if they lack sufficient head control.

The Kidsflex car seat is designed to provide adjustable postural support for children living with a disability during travel. Its configurable supports and growth adjustments allow the seat to be tailored to the child’s positioning requirements.

  • Adjustable seat depth and harness height
  • Slimline cushions and a narrow seat base to support easier vehicle access and transfers
  • Padded five-point positioning harness
  • Available supports may include lateral, shoulder, pelvic and head supports
  • Optional footrest, pommel and tray accessories

The Kidsflex 2 includes a five-point harness, head support, tilt-in-space, recline, small lateral supports and a left-turning swivel base that requires ISOFIX. It is installed in the rear vehicle seat using the vehicle’s three-point seatbelt, subject to the selected configuration and manufacturer’s instructions.

The larger Kidsflex 3 is suitable for users up to 75 kg.

The Kidsflex 2 has been independently assessed through MACA’s Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) and is listed on MACA’s National Product Register. Suitability and installation should be confirmed for the individual child and vehicle.
