Warranty
The Magic Mobility Extreme X8 is supported by a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty, including:
- Limited lifetime warranty on the frame, bogie, trailing arms, and forks
- Twelve (12) months warranty on all other components
Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery. Terms and conditions apply.
Standards Compliance
The Extreme X8 complies with the following Australian and international standards:
- AS/NZS 3696 – Powered wheelchairs: Requirements and test methods
- ISO 7176 – Wheelchair performance, safety, and durability standards
These standards ensure the wheelchair has been independently tested for safety, reliability, and performance.
Lead Time
Standard lead time is approximately 8 to 10 weeks from order confirmation.
Lead times may vary depending on configuration, seating requirements, and custom options.
Service and Maintenance
To ensure ongoing safety, performance, and reliability, Astris PME recommends servicing the Extreme X8 every six months.
The approximate cost is $700.00 per year (excluding GST), which includes:
- Technician call-out
- Two scheduled services per year
- Up to one (1) hour of labour per service
Regular servicing helps maintain optimal performance and may assist in extending the lifespan of the equipment.
Spare parts, if required, are not included in this cost and will be quoted separately.
