The Marcy is designed to support a child during their first attempts at walking, helping them move more safely while building confidence and early mobility skills. It provides the support needed to assist with balance while also encouraging activation and training of the torso muscles.

The wheelbase can be adjusted to suit individual needs, allowing the walker to be tailored for different users and stages of development. Its highly manoeuvrable design supports easier movement in everyday environments, while the long base provides added security and stability.

To further support early gait training, direction locks can be used to help guide the walker in a straighter line, making it easier for the child to practise stepping and walking with greater control.
