The Ormesa Frame Runner is designed to support children and adults with motor and coordination impairments to participate in running, jogging, and outdoor physical activity safely and confidently. Its lightweight frame and stable three-wheel design provide the support needed to promote independent movement while maintaining balance and control.

Users propel the Frame Runner using their legs while steering with the handlebar, enabling active participation in recreation, therapy, and sport. Regular use can help improve physical fitness, muscle strength, balance, coordination, and overall confidence, while supporting greater independence and community participation.

More than an assistive device, the Frame Runner creates opportunities for movement, inclusion, and connection. It enables individuals to experience the physical and social benefits of an active lifestyle, supporting wellbeing, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Warranty

The Ormesa Frame Runner is supported by a two (2) year manufacturer’s warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery. Terms and conditions apply.

Standards Compliance

The Frame Runner complies with the following international standard:

  • UNI EN 12182:2012 – Assistive products for persons with disability: General requirements and test methods

Compliance with this standard ensures the device has been tested for safety, durability, and intended performance.

ARTG Certification

The Ormesa Frame Runner is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG No. 150121), confirming it meets Australian regulatory requirements for safety and clinical use.

Lead Time

Standard lead time is approximately 4 to 6 weeks from order confirmation and receipt of funding approval.

Delivery may occur sooner depending on product configuration and current stock availability.

Estimated Service Life

The Frame Runner is designed and tested for an expected service life of approximately five (5) years, when used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommended service schedule.

Service and Maintenance

To ensure ongoing safety, performance, and reliability, Astris PME recommends servicing the Frame Runner annually.

The approximate cost is $385.00 per year (including GST), which includes:

  • Technician call-out
  • One (1) hour of labour

Regular servicing helps maintain optimal function and extend the lifespan of the equipment.

If replacement parts are required, these will be quoted separately and are not included in the standard service cost.
