Standing is an effective way to promote greater independence and reduce the risk for secondary complications associated with long-term sitting in wheelchairs. The F5 Corpus VS includes all the power seat functions of the F5 Corpus in addition to standing and drivability while standing. It should be prescribed for users who want to benefit from standing but cannot stand independently.

The Corpus Seating

System Improved comfort, pelvic positioning, lateral stability and immersion are all key objectives of the new Corpus seat. The new Corpus cushions feature softer two-layer foam on the backrest, a re-designed pelvic well and Stretch-Air cushion fabric. Combined with BodyNatural, the new Permobil Corpus seat is the ultimate seat system for power chair users, whether they require power functions or not.

Warranty: limited lifetime warranty on frame, bogie and trailing arms and forks, twelve (12) months warranty on all other components

Lead Time: 8 to 10 weeks; 4 weeks lead time for QuickShip orders

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place twice a year to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $700.00 (excluding GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour per service.
