The Rifton Adaptive Tricycle is designed to help children with additional needs enjoy the freedom, fun, and excitement of riding a bike. Thoughtfully developed as a therapeutic trike, it offers a supportive and adaptable riding experience that can be tailored to each child’s needs.

Built to grow with the rider, the tricycle can be adjusted quickly and easily without tools, making it practical for changing needs over time. Beyond the enjoyment of riding, it also offers important therapeutic and developmental benefits, including support for lower limb strengthening, reciprocal leg movement, balance development, steering and spatial awareness, and social interaction with peers and family.

Designed to encourage both mobility and participation, the Rifton Adaptive Tricycle helps children build confidence, independence, and connection through active play.

Estimated Service Life:This product is designed and tested for an expected life of 5 years when used and maintained in accordance with the products manual.

Service/Maintenance: Astris PME advise that a service/maintenance check takes place annually to ensure that the equipment maintains optimal working condition. This is an approximate annual cost of $385.00 (including GST). This includes technician callout and one (1) hour of labour.
