Extra-Wide, Open-Side Seating

Designed to support safe transfers and access, with seat widths of 15” for Small and Medium and 17” for Large.

The Large size accommodates adults up to 6’2” and 113 kg (250 lb), supporting a broader range of users.

Fully Configurable System

All sizes of the Rifton Wave are compatible with any of the three base options, allowing the system to be tailored to individual clinical and environmental needs.

Independent Calf Rest Adjustment

Calf rest adjusts independently of the seat angle, supporting lower-limb alignment and comfort without compromising positioning.

Tub Transfer Base Compatibility

The tub transfer base enables the user to be positioned into the bath chair using a mechanical lift, then rolled and rotated over the bathtub for safe showering — reducing manual handling risks.

Growth & Conversion Capability

Conversion kit allows the user to progress from Small to Medium by replacing only the back, seat and cover, extending product lifespan and reducing long-term costs.

The Rifton Wave has been re-imagined to improve bathing and showering for the client and caregiver. Exceptional new features have been incorporated to help make bathing a more relaxed and pleasant experience, in or out of baths and showers. The Wave chair provides infinite adjustability with an easy range of angle adjustments to the seat, back and calf rest. The seat has been widened to accommodate larger clients and generous padding under the soft knit fabric has been added to protect skin integrity. The Wave chair is completely configurable and all sizes can fit on any of the three base options. It is the least costly alternative to remodeling a bathroom or assisted living, without resorting to bed baths.
