Extra-Wide Open-Side Seating – Designed to support safer transfers and easier access, with seat widths of 15 inches for Small and Medium sizes, and 17 inches for Large. The Large size can accommodate adults up to 6'2" and 113 kg (250 lb), supporting a broader range of users.

Fully Configurable System – All sizes of the Rifton Wave are compatible with any of the three base options, allowing the system to be tailored to individual clinical, functional, and environmental needs.

Independent Calf Rest Adjustment – The calf rest can be adjusted independently of the seat angle, helping support lower limb alignment and comfort without compromising overall positioning.

Tub Transfer Base Compatibility – The tub transfer base allows the user to be positioned into the bath chair using a mechanical lift, then rolled and rotated over the bathtub for safer showering and reduced manual handling.

Growth and Conversion Capability – A conversion kit allows the chair to be changed from Small to Medium by replacing only the back, seat, and cover, helping extend product lifespan and reduce long-term costs.

Cost-Effective Care Solution – Offers a practical alternative to major bathroom modifications or assisted living placement, while helping avoid the need for bed bathing and supporting dignity, hygiene, and independence.

TheΒ Rifton Wave has been thoughtfully redesigned to improve bathing and showering for both the user and the caregiver. With a range of enhanced features, it helps make personal care routines more comfortable, relaxed, and practical in both bath and shower environments.

The Wave chair offers highly adjustable positioning, with easy-to-use angle adjustments for the seat, backrest, and calf rest, allowing support to be tailored to individual needs. The seat has been widened to accommodate larger users, and generous padding beneath the soft knit fabric helps protect skin integrity and improve overall comfort.

Fully configurable in design, the Rifton Wave allows all sizes to be used with any of the three available base options, providing greater flexibility across different care settings. It is a practical and cost-effective alternative to major bathroom modifications or assisted living adaptations, while helping avoid the need for bed bathing.
