The range of Simple Stuff Works products are made from materials that helps keep moisture away from the skin and allow air to circulate around an individual, so that a dry, temperate environment can be maintained during resting. The materials used help maintain an individuals unique temperature regulatory system which is an essential safety feature for people who find it difficult to control their own temperature.
Stabilising mesh
Non-slip mesh that can be used either as one layer of fitted mesh with a flat top piece, or two flat pieces if the individual is maybe sharing a bed. The flexibility of this base layer makes it one of the most dynamic parts of our system.
Wedges
Soft fibre wedges are breathable and help keep moisture away from the skin allowing the person to remain comfortable and reducing the risk of tissue damage. The wedges are tapered at one end meaning they can be used in variety of positions and they also come in 6 different sizes.
Lateral supports
Provide soft support which can be used in the same way regular wedges are used but they go directly on to the pressure mattress. The mesh is inbuilt into the wedge meaning it can grip the mattress and goes directly under the sheet.
Supine stabiliser
Available in 5 sizes, from infant to adult, and it also comes in a range of 3 colours; cream, blue and pink. It is entirely washable and simple to use, making it one of the most popular support options.
Side lying leg support
Designed to protect the hips and pelvis when a person is lying on their side. The leg channel creates a perfect place for the top leg to lie and the bottom leg wraps gently around the outside.
Foot supports
Hold the feet in a neutral position for long periods of time and are protected from falling forwards or rotating. The foot supports come in 3 sizes.
Neck support pillow
A lovely option for supporting an individuals neck. Made from soft fibre and covered in a soft yet durable polyester-mix material.
Sausage & horseshoe pillows
Same quality materials as the neck support pillow but the shape provides more positioning options.
