We were thrilled to welcome Amy Tobin and Drew from Now I Can Run to our Seven Hills showroom to try out the brand-new Ormesa Frame Runner – and what a moment it was! Amy, a leading expert in frame running who supports over 300 athletes worldwide, was genuinely impressed.
“This frame brings together all the best features from my favourite frame runners – all in one incredible design,” said Amy.
What is Frame Running?

Also known as Race Running, frame running is an adaptive sport designed for people of all ages who rely on mobility aids and can’t functionally run. Athletes use a specially designed three-wheeled frame with a saddle and chest support, propelling themselves with their feet while steering with their hands.
Beyond the sheer fun, frame running helps improve overall fitness, strength, posture, and cardiovascular health, while also boosting confidence and wellbeing.
A Growing Sport
Frame running has its roots in Europe, with Denmark and Norway among the pioneers, and it’s been growing rapidly worldwide thanks to passionate advocates and organisations like Now I Can Run. In Australia, the sport has been steadily gaining momentum, with local clubs, schools, and disability sports programs embracing it. Events and competitions are now taking place across the country, creating a vibrant and welcoming community.
With tools like the Ormesa Frame Runner, athletes have access to high-quality equipment that supports them to train, build strength, and enjoy the thrill of movement. Whether racing down a track, exploring the park, or joining family adventures, frame running and other outdoor therapy products – including adaptive bikes, trikes, and all-terrain strollers – help people of all abilities live more fully.
